Today in my consecutive interpretation class we were joined by the German and Korean groups. We role played an meeting to set up a joint research lab on stem cells
in Skolkovo (Germans provide funding, Koreans the technology, Russians the land). By the end of the class the Russian delegation was very frustrated by the politeness (and pokeyness) of the Korean delegation and drove the whole meeting into a dead end. The professors were pleased and said the session resembled real life, except for the Korean professor, who scolded the Russian delegation for being rude.

So basically, the less efficient you are, the more realistic you are, the better grade you get? The hard part is that it's in three different languages
